  1. What color lipstick should I wear with a red dress?

    • Opt for a classic red lipstick that matches the shade of your dress or go for a nude or soft neutral beige to keep the focus on you.

  2. How can I make my lipstick last longer?

    • Apply a matte long wear lipstick and/or a lip liner to fill in your lips, and finish with a setting powder or spray.

  3. What is the best way to apply lipstick?

    • Start by exfoliating your lips, apply a lip balm, use a lip liner to define your lips, and then apply lipstick with a brush for precision.

  4. How do I choose the right lipstick shade for my skin tone?

    • Determine your undertone: cool undertones look best with blue-based reds, pinks, berry and rose tones, while warm undertones suit stoplight reds, peachy, beiges and corals.

  5. Can I wear bold lipstick with minimal makeup?

    • Absolutely! Bold lipstick can be the focal point of your look. Keep the rest of your makeup simple with a light amount of foundation or just concealer, mascara, liquid or gel liner or smoky shadow to outline eyes softly and a touch of blush.

  6. How do I prevent my lipstick from feathering?

    • Use a lip liner to outline your lips, apply a lip primer or dust with powder lightly and avoid overly creamy or glossy lipsticks that tend to bleed.

  7. What is the difference between matte and glossy lipstick?

    • Matte lipstick has a flat, non-shiny finish and tends to last longer, while glossy lipstick has a shiny finish and can make lips appear fuller.

  8. How can I make my lips look fuller with lipstick?

    • Use a lip liner slightly warmer than your natural lipcolor outside your natural lip line making sure to color onto the inner edge of your lips also with the lip liner pencil- or a matte lipstick, apply a lighter shade in the center of your lips, and add a touch of gloss for a plumping effect.

  9. What is the best way to remove long-lasting lipstick?

    • Use an oil-based makeup remover or micellar water, gently massaging it onto your lips to break down the product before wiping it away.

  10. How often should I replace my lipstick?

    • Lipstick typically lasts for about 1-2 years. Replace it if it changes in texture, smell, or color. If it's a trendy color like a purple, glitter, grayish, mauve or dark tones replace it with a new trend every 6 months.

11.   What color lipstick to wear with a gray dress?

A gray dress may need a little pizzaz like a glossy pink, Gild + Glosserie Mermaid peach or fuchsia or berry tone. If your hair              color is orangey red- a peach, beigey, caramel or mauve - berry would be fabulous. If hair is a sandy or light color a contrast              would work best like a bold fuchsia or blue red matte lipcolor. Dark hair color with a gray dress: a soft pink tone, glossy plum or          matte berry.

12. Does blush and lipstick have to match?

Blush and lipstick look more polished in the same family of colors either cool or warm but you can bend that rule. Try adding a                cool highlight blush color like a frosty pink over a subtle matte coral- or a golden highlight slightly overlapping a neutral pink blush.          Use a Glimmer lip gloss that matches your blush highlight color to balance your look. Remember that a golden or tan contour or              bronzer also warms up blush colors so keep contour subtle.
